18 - 25 August 2023 - Running Retreat

       -- For mountain runners of all levels

This retreat is one for the books!  Featuring FIVE days of trail-running on some of the most majestic mountains in Alaska.  An optional rest-day (glacier excursion or free day) is built into the itinerary.  Airport shuttles, transportation to trails, expert guides, and most meals are provided.  Individual or shared rooms available with shared bathroom spaces. 

 

Spaced is limited to 5-8 runners, based on accommodations or preferences.

Sample Week Itinerary*:

18 August

-- Arrive at Anchorage Airport by 6:00pm

-- 6:30pm - Transportation to Lodge/check-in

-- Dinner and Welcome bonfire

19 August

-- Breakfast at Lodge

-- Scenic guided run from lodge (2-4 hours)

-- Afternoon trip into town for supplies

-- Dinner at local restaurant

​

20 August

-- Breakfast at Lodge

-- Travel in our Sprinter to nearby trailhead

-- Guided run (2-4 hours)

-- (Optional RunFest Full/Half Marathon) 

-- Dinner at lodge

21 August

-- Breakfast at Lodge

-- Travel in our Sprinter to nearby trailhead

-- Guided run (2-4 hours)

-- Dinner at lodge

22 August

-- Breakfast at Lodge

-- REST DAY / FREE DAY

-- Optional: hike/lunch on Matanuska Glacier

-- Breakfast at Lodge

-- Travel in our Sprinter to nearby trailhead

-- Guided run (2-4 hours)

-- Local run from lodge (2-4 hours)

$500 deposit required at booking to reserve your spot.

There will be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 runners for each trip. Please do not book flights until you receive confirmation from us.

Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so early deposits are recommended!

  -- Minimum age to participate: 16 years 

​

Price includes: Lodging accommodations, airport shuttles, transportation to trails, daily coffee/breakfasts, 4 dinners at the lodge, Chugach state park access, and an experienced guide.  Optional deep-tissue massage will also be available. 

​

Guests are responsible for air transportation to and from Anchorage International Airport.

​
